Liminality is a state of transition between one stage and the next, especially between major stages in one’s life or during a rite of passage.
This work for video, fixed media, and bass clarinet explores both the sense of waiting for the “new normal” after the Melbourne lockdowns, and the artists’ experience of visual snow, a neurological condition causing constant static-like visual disturbances.
